Day 3 - Survived Some Rain - Maddie

As the rain poured non-stop yesterday, Charlie and I knew we could be in for a wet and exhausting ride today. After saying goodbye to our teammates, classmates, and friends in Princeton,

Charlie and I rode 44 miles to Charlie’s house in Philly. Although the trails we rode on tended to be wetter than Steph Curry’s shot, we had a good time riding side by side. After we made it through a few toe paths, we hit the road and picked up our speed. We had to deal with a ton of stop lights heading into Philadelphia, but they gave us the opportunity to practice clipping in and out of our pedals. If you follow us on Instagram @NAMICoast2Coast, you’ll see that Charlie took a tumble unclipping today😳

Once we arrived at the Bagin’s, we cleaned up our bikes from the mud and dirt they collected today! Mr. and Mrs. Bagin made us an incredible dinner filled with even better conversation and lots of laughs. We are stretching and watching American Idol, preparing for our 82 mile ride tomorrow😅 This will be both of our longest rides ever, so we are both anxiously excited for this coming challenge. We will update you all tomorrow!!! Good night!
