Hello World!
Isn't that supposed to be the first line you write on one of these?
We're looking forward to keeping you updated on our progress here throughout the trip. Hopefully we'll get one out every day or two, but it's unclear what kind of internet access we will have, and how often we will have charged devices, so no promises on the frequency.
As of right now we are both gathering the necessary materials and equipment. We are also both training, though it's been hypothesized that Maddie is training much harder than Charlie and will kick his butt the first few weeks. Regardless, we'll both have to ramp up the mileage over the next month if we want to be able to walk at the end of the day for the first couple of weeks of the trip.
